So, August came and went. In the recruitment world its normally a time of calm, a chance to recharge the batteries and be ready for the peak season of recruitment which normally kicks in after the schools go back until early December.
So, 2022 hasn’t quite managed to match the above outlined ‘normality’, as the market remains to steam ahead with multiple vacancies in organisation and multivacancy campaigns, and here at Bayman Atkinson Smythe it has been no different. We have recruited additional support to enable us to remain productive, competitive but retaining the quality and personal approach we set up to deliver.
This is the beauty of a boutique.
Whilst we may not have every vacancy, or even every candidate, we do have an approach that works. We take time. We get to know our people and we support them every step of the way. We feel that the candidates’ personal journey and experience that goes to securing them an offer, and them accepting, is the key to successful recruitment. It’s also very rewarding from our experience as recruiters.
Now as we step into September – what’s our prediction for the next Quarter? Still as busy is a yes, there are external factors that will impact the economy, but the current candidate shortage will take a year or so to turnaround, having experienced similar cycles in our 20-25 year individual recruiting experience.
Whichever route you take to recruit, it’s important not to forget each persons’ experience in the process is very much key. We are all human, and that quality & service that everyone should expect, flows from this. We look forward to continuing to deliver excellent recruitment across the North West
