Well, Autumn is here, and I love nothing more at this time of the year than walking through a local park or down a country lane, listening to the robins and starlings in the trees, watching out for falling conkers and crunching the leaves as my feet hit the ground.
Autumn is such a colourful season with the orange tones in the trees and the contrasting bright blue skies and what a mild start we are having!! This must be an all-time record which let’s face it is an absolute blessing as it will most definitely help keep our fuel bills down.
Team BAS has had an incredibly busy month again and as we all start thinking about Christmas and planning our Christmas parties (with just 8 weeks to go!!) clearly our clients are thinking about being ready for 2023 as the recruitment market is showing no sign of decline and candidates are in demand more than ever. This is lovely to see as overall, not just within recruitment, it has been a tough few years for everyone so it is refreshing to still see recruitment at a peak and candidates being able to secure long-term careers in quite challenging times.
It’s half term for us next week, so I am off for some quality time with my three boys, which I hope will include lots of autumn walks, some pumpkin carving, as well as some other good old Halloween fun and games (here’s some pictures from last year at “Little Owl Farm” over in Saddleworth).
Don’t forget to put your clocks back an hour on the 29th for that blissful extra hour in bed, and happy Halloween everyone!!
