As we head towards the warmer (hopefully) months of summer, the BAS Team likes to step up their charity efforts for the various charities we support. As our team continues to grow, we have our own individual charities of choice, of which we share the volunteering or fundraising for these chosen ones, as much as we can.
First, to kick the season off is Jane, who is braving the cold depths of Windermere next month and is joining the Great North Swim and swimming a mile for The Society of Abandoned Animals. If you wish to sponsor her, the Just Giving sponsorship link is below. She is currently training in the pool every moment she gets and has just completed her first open-water swim this weekend in Scotland… we aren’t sure what extreme sport she will try next in her ongoing quest to help her furry friends.

Next up is the Rochdale-based office, which is spending a day at Springhill Hospice volunteering in July – they are getting their green fingers ready to tackle a bit of gardening so we are hoping the sun shines on them that day and the rest of the BAS team will be spending a day volunteering at the Society of Abandoned animals in Sale. At a grassroots level, we are the proud sponsors of both a Youth Football Team and Boules team and are hoping their new kits will help them to outshine their competition.
We look forward to sharing photos of these efforts we enjoy, whilst also giving back to the community and hopefully making someone’s life that little bit better through our efforts. As always, if anyone wants to join us for any volunteering do get in touch and we can give you all the details of dates and times!
