Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Manchester – Salary £70,000 to £80,000 + Benefits + Hybrid working – Permanent
Our client is a successful and evolving charity based in Manchester. In preparation of an ambitious and imminent growth plan we are seeking an entrepreneurial and business minded Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join the organisation. The role will support a visionary and talented CEO and Board of Trustees and will play a pivotal role in delivering the future plans of the organisation.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Manage a small finance team.
- Provide strategic advice to the CEO, Trust Board, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain and develop systems and processes.
- Prepare the annual accounts, forecasts and budgets.
- Prepare and submit all the statutory returns.
- Be the first point of contact for the internal and external auditors.
- Prepare monthly management reports.
- Perform risk management of the organisation’s liabilities and investments.
The Person:
- It is essential you are a fully qualified accountant.
- Experience of working in the charitable sector would be an advantage but not essential.
- Can evidence an entrepreneurialism and innovative outlook with an ability to identify commercial opportunities to maximise income.
