THE JOB
You will report to the Director of Finance and oversee the completion of statutory and management accounts, regulatory, and financial returns for the Group. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing, mentoring, and developing a small finance team
- Producing group budgets and management accounts
- Preparing timely monthly management accounts with supporting narratives
- Reporting on KPIs (monthly, quarterly, annually)
- Partnering with key budget holders
- Preparing annual statutory accounts for the Group
- Overseeing Value for Money reporting
- Ensuring financial compliance and achieving strategic objectives
THE PERSON
We’re seeking a qualified accountant (or a finalist) with knowledge of social housing or a regulated environment. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in delivering annual financial accounts and regulatory returns
- Expertise in managing finance teams in a housing or similar environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
THE PACKAGE
- £55,000 p.a.
- 30 days holiday + statutory
