We are looking for a Qualified Financial Accountant to join our fast-growing client’s team, providing essential financial services and contributing to the continued success and expansion of the group. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be part of a central finance team based at their headquarters in South Manchester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the year-end consolidation and annual reports for the PLC and subsidiaries
- Monthly statutory accounts, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow
- Collaborate with auditors, external accountants, and tax advisors across multiple countries
- Supervise the preparation of IFRS 16 lease accounts
- Prepare and write technical papers for IFRS 15 and capitalisation of employee costs to projects
- Offer technical support and guidance to the transactional and management accounting team
THE CANDIDATE
- ACA or ACCA Qualified Accountant
- Experience in multi-entity, multi-currency consolidation
- Proficient/advanced Excel skills
- Previous experience in manufacturing or engineering is advantageous
- High energy, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset
- This is a mainly onsite position
