Group Financial Planning Manager – Liverpool - £53,000 to £59,000
Our client is a not for a profit organisation that is going through a large transformational change, and are looking to recruit to the role of Group Financial Planning Manager.
The Role:
- Manage a small team of Analysts
- Provide management, support and guidance to the Analysts to ensure accurate and timely delivery of the budget, forecasts and other supporting financial analysis
- Work with key stakeholders to develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, operating forecasts and other ad-hoc analysis to drive performance
- Deliver a smooth and robust month end including the management accounts and financial performance reporting, together with risks and opportunities, for senior stakeholders, including Group Board
- Provide commercial and financial insight, advice and support to business managers and governance bodies on all aspects of financial management for specified areas of business across the Group
- Support, advise and challenge to influence business managers on the management of financial challenges and opportunities.
- Support with the development of financial models, and analyse them to support strategic initiatives
- Play a key role in the timely preparation and consolidation of the 30-year Business Plans, budgets and quarterly forecasts for the Group
- Ensure financial control and integrity of all financial models used for reporting and planning
The Person:
- It is essential you are a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA OR CIMA)
- Substantial experience in a finance management position within a large, dispersed organisation
- Strong communication and influencing skills with a strong customer focus
- Proactive approach with the capability to work flexibly
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure
