A highly regarded Academy Trust based in South Manchester are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join their expanding HR team. This is a permanent job opportunity that offers both home and office working. The ideal working hours will be 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday – Thursday, 8:30am-4:00pm on a Friday but there can be some flexibility with the start and finish times.
THE JOB
As HR Advisor you will be a visible presence within the Academy Trust, providing professional and timely HR advisory services to their schools and central team.
This is a new role, so there is opportunity for you to make your mark and use your HR knowledge to efficiently manage all employee lifecycle matters.
You’ll work together with the leadership team in each school to manage casework promptly and effectively, develop people improvement plans, coach and support where required, standardise people practices and ensure the Academy Trust is championing the wellbeing of their colleagues.
Whilst this role is focussed on being a visible and operational support to the Academy Trust, there will be lots of opportunity to work on projects and to be influential in shaping the future HR strategy.

THE PERSON
The ideal HR Advisor will be CIPD Level 5 or above and will have worked in an advisory role for a minimum of 3 years.
Experience of working in an education setting or a public sector organisation would be advantageous but is not essential.
This job will require regular travel between the Academy Trusts central offices and their 5 schools. Therefore, the post holder will need to have a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle that can be used for work purposes.
