Paying up to £50k + Benefits - Are you a dynamic Learning & Development professional looking for your next challenge?  Our client, a forward-thinking engineering organisation based in Cheshire, is seeking an experienced Learning & Development Business Partner to shape their L&D strategy and drive workforce development.

With multiple sites across the UK and Ireland, as Learning & Development Business Partner you will be expected to travel to other sites as and when required.

This is a permanent office-based Learning & Development Business Partner job opportunity working Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:00pm (37.5 hrs p/w), however there can be some flexibility with the start and finish times.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Head of HR, this is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic L&D professional to partner with senior stakeholders and implement innovative learning solutions. You’ll play a key role in conducting skills gap analyses, designing tailored training programs, and embedding a culture of continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business leaders to assess learning needs and align L&D initiatives with company goals
  • Develop and maintain an in-house L&D framework to support employee growth
  • Conduct skills gap analyses and implement targeted training strategies
  • Design and manage apprenticeship and early careers programs
  • Oversee external training suppliers and identify digital learning solutions
  • Manage the L&D budget, ensuring cost-effective training solutions
  • Use data-driven insights to measure training effectiveness and ROI
  • Provide senior leadership with strategic reports and recommendations
  • Facilitate engaging training sessions and coaching programs
  • Stay up to date with emerging L&D trends and technologies

THE PERSON

  • Proven experience in an L&D or Talent Development role within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at all levels
  • Experience in developing and maintaining an in-house L&D framework
  • Expertise in skills gap analysis and designing impactful training strategies
  • Knowledge of digital learning solutions and how to integrate them effectively
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Excellent facilitation and coaching abilities
