Paying up to £32,000 + Benefits - Our client, a highly successful and fast-expanding textile business based in Rochdale, is seeking an experienced Merchandiser to join their dynamic merchandising team.
THE ROLE
As part of the team, you will work collaboratively to maximise commercial opportunities, drive sales, and improve availability and forecasting, all while minimising markdowns and maximising profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forecasting seasonal products and business trends
- Managing stock through detailed analysis and cashflow forecasts
- Monitoring retail spending and stock to make necessary adjustments
- Liaising with suppliers to manage orders and address potential delays
- Collaborating with design and quality teams on trends and stock analysis
- Participating in regular meetings to ensure stock levels align with company targets
THE PERSON
- Previous experience in a merchandising role
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency
- Confidence in decision-making and forecasting
- Methodical, deadline-driven, with the ability to influence outcomes
- Strong customer awareness and a passion for the product

Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm or 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
- Friday: 8:30 am – 3:00 pm
